Grilled Salmon with Soy-Brown Sugar Marinade
Source: Allrecipes
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets (we also use salmon steaks from time to time)
- lemon pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- salt to taste
- 1/3 C soy sauce
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 1/3 C water
- 1/4 C vegetable oil
- Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
- In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large, resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Preheat grill for medium heat.
- Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

i love salmon too! this recipe seems super simple and tasty; i will definitely have to try it :) you should try the tomato basil recipe for salmon in my blog...
Thanks for the recipe! I made it for my husband (who doesn't like seafood) and he loved it!
It is delicious broiled. We used to grill it, too, til a lack of propane put an end to it one night. I tried the broiler and we've been cooking it that way ever since. Best salmon we've ever had and even my smallest kids dig it. Mrs. Smith in TX
